Established in 1998 as a strategic partnership between ADNOC and Borealis, Borouge operates one of the world’s largest integrated polyolefin complexes in Al Ruwais Industrial City. Since 2001, Borouge has increased its annual production capacity by tenfold to reach 5 million tonnes, positioning it in the top 5 polyolefin producers in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. With Borouge 4, the company will boost its annual polyolefin production capacity to reach 6.4 million tonnes by end of 2025.
